DESIGN VILLAGE was formed in 1995 to bring together many different types of supplier to the general public under the same roof. Unlike many local interior designers the scale of DESIGN VILLAGE Showrooms has enabled the public to view, by way of imaginative room-sets, a mixture of furniture, fabric and accessories in a range of schemes designed to inspire the imagination. In its successful 6 year growth, the Company has gone further afield to source its own look and now imports furniture and fabrics from over 10 different countries. The result being a unique look that cannot be duplicated outside of the Showrooms. The staff of DESIGN VILLAGE are fully experienced in all areas of interior decoration and can offer useful advice and support to clients embarking on the task of re-decorating their home. Interior design service Whatever size of job, we are able to offer a tailor-made service to our clients. Whether it be simple ideas and colour schemes with help in choosing fabrics, wall coverings and furniture; or a fuller service on providing sketches, story-boards and schedules, these services are available on request. A free home consultation service is provided initially by any of the design team if wished. Many of our clients, are at long distance and wish to rent out their property with only a small budget for decoration. We are happy to recommend the fabrics and furnishings ideally suited to this market and can furnish rental and show-homes with the minimum of expense and concern to the overseas client, working from Plans or undertaking the key-holding of the property. Equally we are extremely happy with working on overseas projects and can offer a facility of on and off site meetings to meet the client’s needs. Our designers are happy to offer their help on all sizes of projects up to £500,000 and will undertake liaison with architects, builders, subcontractors and tradesmen to ensure continuity of the project.
